Description:
Frogs and Toads (ages 4-6) The differences between frogs and toads. Make a take-home toad house! Reptiles and Amphibians (ages 7-10) Go on a hike to look for reptiles and amphibians. Zoological Discoveries (ages 11-13) Is that animal is a mammal, reptile, herbivore or carnivore? Times: 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., repeated from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Cost: FREE! Pre-registration suggested, but walk-ins are welcome.

Description:
Step back in time and participate in a vibrant and active village, where you can help with chores, learn traditional crafting skills and trades, and play the old-fashioned way! You can attend a class at the School House, visit the Print Shop and watch our very own Pony Express pick up and deliver mail through the Village. Enjoy shopping of yesteryear at the General Store or purchase unique candy at the Attica Hotel Gift Shop. If you’re a train enthusiast, you will find items from kid’s toys to elegant watches at our Train Shop. All of these exciting and memorable activities await you daily at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad.

Description:
Learn about these energetic animals with a story, craft, and interactive game. Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Cost: $3.00 per child. For ages 3-6. Pre-registration required by 08/26/08.
