Description:
Join the Crim and get the entire family active! You and your family will collect mileage for walking and/or running through our beautiful Genesee County Parks. The more mileage you earn the more chances you have to win great healthy prizes! Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. For families, all ages and activity levels. Time: 9:30-10:30am. Cost: FREE! Pre-registration not required.

Description:
Departure times from May 29 to September 6, 2010: 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 Departure times exclude Wednesdays in July: Every Wednesday in July departures are: 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00. July 4th there will not be a 1:00 departure due to the parade. During out Day Out With Thomas Event there will be an additional departures at 11:00 and 12 noon.

Description:
Step back in time and participate in a vibrant and active village, where you can help with chores, learn traditional crafting skills and trades, and play the old-fashioned way! You can attend a class at the School House, visit the Print Shop and watch our very own Pony Express pick up and deliver mail through the Village. Enjoy shopping of yesteryear at the General Store or purchase unique candy at the Attica Hotel Gift Shop. If you’re a train enthusiast, you will find items from kid’s toys to elegant watches at our Train Shop. All of these exciting and memorable activities await you daily at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad.

Description:
Have you lost some of your trees to the dreaded Emerald Ash Borer? Don’t worry, we can help. The ash tree is only one of dozens of trees that grow in Genesee County. Join us as we walk the arboretum and explore the many options available to you. For adults, ages 16 and older Time: 10am – 12pm. Description:
Dad is always making something in his workshop. Well now it’s your turn. Come out to For-Mar’s workshop and make something special for dad. Parents must accompany children. Description:
Enjoy the sounds that filled the air in the 1800s and that still delight us at Crossroads Village - the grist mill wheels grinding, the school bell clanging, the hissing of the boiler that powers the apple press, the rhythmic chug of the Huckleberry Railroad steam engine and many others you’ll hear when you pause to listen.

[12:00pm]Splash Pad Spray Ground
Description:
FREE ADMISSION! Open May 28 ~ September 12, 2010 12 noon ~ 8 p.m. daily. No lifeguards on duty during the 2010 season. Park attendants will be on duty at Bluebell from May 28 - September 6, 2010.






[2:00pm]Great Outdoors Month
Description:
Make a bird feeder out of pine cones, peanut butter and bird seed. Time: 2-3pm. Available to current Wolverine campers only.










[6:00pm]F.A.N.s (Family Adventures in Nature) Fire Starting and Buddy Burning
Description:
Learn just what it takes to start a fire. Join us for games and activities around a fire. For families, all ages. Time: 6pm – 7:30pm. Cost: $3.00 per person. Pre-registration not required, but organized groups are asked to call ahead. Call 810-736-7100 x6 Details: 810-789-8567

[6:00pm]Huckleberry Radio Hour
Description:
A one hour live radio show broadcast from the Colwell Opera House at Crossroads Village. These shows will feature live musical performances by guest artists and Village entertainers. Although the Huckleberry Radio Hour begins promptly at 7:00 pm, please arrive at the Coldwell Opera House by 6:00 pm. Our host for the Huckleberry Radio Hour, Michael J. Thorp, will educate us all on the history of live radio and give direction on how to participate in this live radio show. So please arrive promptly by 6:00 pm to enjoy every aspect of the Huckleberry Radio Hour!

Description:
Learn about wetlands, why they're importand and how to protect them. Time: 7-9pm. Available to current Wolverine campers only.

[7:00pm]Theatre in Our Parks: Love's Labors Lost
Description:
The Kearsley Park Traveling Players perform Shakespeare's "Love's Labors Lost," the story of a King and his three noble companions who take an oath to devote themselves to three years of study, promising not to give in to the company of women. However, when the Princess of France and her ladies in waiting arrive for a state visit, the men's good intentions take a comical turn. For families, all ages. Time: 7-9:30pm. Cost: FREE! Pre-registration not required.
